Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Paypal and money orders.
Q: What do I need to do to pay by money order.
A: During checkout, select the money order option. Our mailing address will appear which is where you need to send the money order. Please include a note with your confirmation number and contact info so we will know what you ordered.
Q: How will I know when you received my money order?
A: You'll know when we have received payment because your order status will say Shipped. You can check your order status any time online, by typing your confirmation number into the box on the Service page.
Q: I used Paypal to checkout, but I'm not sure if you received my order.
A: Make sure you go through all of the steps to checkout with Paypal including the last page that confirms your order. If you suspect your order did not go through, please email us at [email protected] and we can check for you and send you a new invoice if necessary.
Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?
A: Orders are normally shipped out within 24-48 hours during the business week. Orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will be shipped out on Monday in most cases. We cannot ship on national holidays when the post office is closed. We ship from New York and you can expect your order to arrive within 2-5 days depending on where you are located in the U.S. International orders take 10-15 days, with Canada being a few days quicker. We ship via USPS.
Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the Service link on the home page and enter your confirmation number. Your tracking number will come up which you can track at usps.com.
Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: Shipping in the U.S. is FREE for ALL orders. International shipping is $6.50. Discounts will automatically be applied at checkout.
Q: What countries do you ship to? Do you ship to APOs, Puerto Rico, etc?
A: We ship to all countries, APOs, PO boxes, etc.
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Yes. If you ordered the wrong product or are dissatisfied, you may send it back to us and we will refund you the purchase price (not shipping). All returned jewelry must be unworn, in new condition.
Q: The order I received was incorrect. How can I get this fixed?
A: Please email us at [email protected] with a note as to what was missing/incorrect. We will respond promptly and ship free of charge what is needed to correct the order.
Q: What type of metal are your steel plugs/tapers?
A: They are 316L, surgical stainless steel, the safest for stretching. Our titanium products are also anodized over 316L steel.
Q: What is the procedure for stretching my ears?
A: It's best to relax your ear lobes with hot water or in the shower before stretching. Apply a lubricant such as Neosporin, KY Jelly or Vitamin E oil to the taper. Take a deep breath and slowly insert the taper until the level end is in your hole. Then take the plug and butt it up against the end of the taper and slowly push the taper through with the plug. Your plug should now be in and you can attach your o-ring/s. The stretching will probably sting, but it should not cause a lot of pain. Wash the area daily with soap and try not to touch it throughout the day to prevent infection.
Q: How long do I need to wait between stretching?
A: Refer to the following chart for approximate times. Keep in mind everyone is different and you do not want to go faster than your body will allow.
16g to 14g - 1 month (16g is the normal size of a first piercing. You need a 14g taper to stretch from 16g to 14g)
14g to 12g - 1 month
12g to 10g - 1 month
10g to 8g - 2 months
8g to 6g - 3 months
6g to 4g - 3 month
4g to 2g - 3 months
2g to 0g - 4 months
0g to 00g - 4 months
00g and up - normally 4 months per stretch
